Poetry

In writing I have used a poem by James K. Baxter as a starting point to write my own holiday poem. I hope you like it.

Ryder’s James K Baxter Poem
The camping ground was usual enough
It had tents, caravans, bins, and even a beach of stones.
My family, and I did what campers do
Waiting for dad to make tea, swimming in the blue ocean, eating after waiting for dad to make the sausages
                                       Doing nothing important.
